Firstly many thanks to everyone who attended the meeting to listen to the Chairmans update and Q&A. The number of people in attendance was a testament to the strength of support from the Fans for our Community Club.
The future is looking very positive for Cheshire Phoenix. I am pleased to confirm that I will be continuing in the role as Chairman, Mark Timperley has now been appointed to the Board and we welcome Steve Harvey of Hillyer McKeown as Company Secretary.
It was confirmed that it is the intention of the Board, should the existing shareholders vote to agree, that we will increase the number of shareholders and sell shares at a one off cost of £250, which includes a season ticket and future benefits such as invitation to Corporate Events and reduced season ticket costs in future years. This is a one off cost, you then own the shares and have a voice and an input and vote of future direction.
We are keen to increase the number of directors on the Board, further information will be published shortly.
