Plymouth Raiders claimed their fourth league win of the season after beating Cheshire Phoenix 84-93 on the road.

Anton Grady led the way with 29 points and nine rebounds with Rhys Carter weighing in with 24 points to help Raiders record a big away victory.

After an even start, the Raiders closed the opening period with a 7-1 run before their offence began to flow in the second with 30 points poured in.

A three from Daryl Corletto put his side up 14 and the Raiders would still hold a comfortable cushion by half-time with a 10-point lead. Cheshire started their comeback in the second half and managed to halve their deficit by the end of the third despite starting with a 9-0 run.

The home side were within two twice in the fourth, but were unable to make the breakthrough required and Plymouth kept their opponents at bay with Grady scoring 10 points in the closing stages to seal the win.

Phoenix were led by Raheem May-Thompson’s 19 points as they drop to 2-5 with Josh Wilcher adding 17 points and seven assists against his former side.
