Cheshire Phoenix completed a weekend double over top-four opposition after beating DBL Sharks Sheffield 100-83, on Sunday.
Mike DiNunno led the way with a 29-point haul along with nine assists, while Earl Brown posted 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a strong all-round display.
It is a seventh league win for Phoenix who close the gap in the hunt for the Play-Offs having also beaten Esh Group Eagles Newcastle on the road, on Friday.
There were no early signs of fatigue as the hosts raced into a double-digit advantage at the end of the first quarter before extending their lead to 12 points at the half-time break.
Sheffield – who also won on Friday – edged a high-scoring third period having been down as many as 20 points at 75-55 before a strong finish.
The Sharks were within single figures at 82-73 but an 8-0 run from the home side finished off any hope of a comeback.
Malcolm Riley had 24 points for the visitors as they missed the opportunity to draw level on points with third-placed Glasgow.
