Cheshire Phoenix are very happy to announce that Raheem May-Thompson will continue for a second season.

Since joining the Phoenix from Leicester Riders, May-Thompson had a great impact on the team averaging 13 points and 6 rebounds per game, becoming an instant hit with #NIXNATION.

On his resigning, Raheem said “I’m thrilled to be coming back to Cheshire for another season.  We had a strong finish at the end of last season and that is something I know we can build on.  I am looking forward to being back on the court playing for the great fans that make this club so special”.

Newly appointed Head Coach Ben Thomas had this to say “It is great to have Raheem back. He was one of the most consistent players last season. He is a really versatile player who can defend and play in multiple positions. We are looking to build a stronger team for next season and this is a brilliant starting point”.

Raheem is the first signing for the upcoming season, stay tuned for all the latest off season news on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds.
