The latest player of the month award has gone to our superstar point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright following some remarkable performances across February.
Jackson-Cartwright averaged 22 points, 6.6 assists, and a league-best 3 steals-per-game in the month of February. His efficiency was second to none as he shot 50.7% from the field, 43.8% from three-point range and 79% from the free-throw line.
PJC is a worthy winner of the award, having paired his brilliant individual performances with a couple of wins against the Sheffield Sharks and Plymouth Raiders.
Our floor-general played the full 40 minutes against the Sharks, despite taking the floor for 45 minutes in a double-OT game on the road against Bristol just the night before. Jackson-Cartwright finished the game with 19 points, eight assists, four steals and also shot 50% from the field.
PJC continued his brilliant play against the Raiders on the 28th of February. He tallied 27 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals on the night but it was his stellar fourth-quarter performance that stood out the most. The American willed us to a tough come-from-behind win on the road after he pummelled the Raiders in the final frame by scoring 13 points (4-7 3PT) in the closing minutes of the game.
