Cheshire Phoenix are pleased to announce the signing of British guard Jerelle Okoro.
Okoro was born in London, England, and is an alumnus of Hackney Community College. The 29-year-old has accumulated plenty of experience in the BBL, having racked up 137 appearances (53 starts) for three different sides (Riders, Giants, Lions) over the course of six seasons.
Okoro’s most productive campaign came in the 2016-17 season when he led the Giants in scoring with 13.7 points-per-game while also hauling in 4.5 rebounds per contest.
Alongside his leadership and experience, the 6’3 guard will bring suffocating defense and unrelenting energy to the Cheshire Oaks Arena.
