INJURY REPORT: Sol Rolls-Tyson.

Cheshire Phoenix can sadly report that Sol Rolls-Tyson suffered a hand injury while going up for a rebound in practice and was forced to miss the game against the Newcastle Eagles on the 20th of December.

Sol’s status was set as OUT (day-to-day) however, his injury turned out to be worse than the initial assessment suggested.

Sol was forced to undergo an emergency operation a few days later.

He is currently rehabbing well and looks forward to stepping back on the court soon.

Phoenix head coach Ben Thomas spoke about Sol’s injury: “It’s really sad to see Sol with another long term injury. He’s really helped the team this season so far and we were expecting him to carry on bringing valuable minutes to the team. He will be missed whilst he is on the sidelines, but hopefully, he will be back playing again soon!

The club would like to wish Sol a full and speedy recovery.
