We are delighted to announce that Kyle Carey’s contract has been extended until the end of the 2020/21 season.
The 6’6 swingman joined the club on the 24th of December and managed to impress coach Thomas in his limited time on the court.
Last night, in our 88-70 win over the Manchester Giants, Carey finished with 15 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals.
Kyle Carey: “It feels great to get an extension to the end of the season, I really enjoy practicing and playing with this group of guys and looking forward to making some noise as a team to push for the playoffs.”
Ben Thomas: “Kyle fully deserves being rewarded with a contract extension! Since being here, he has improved week on week. He plays hard at both ends of the floor and leads by example by doing this.
“I’m looking forward to seeing what more is to come from him!”
