Rent-A-Space and Hillyer McKeown join forces as principal sponsors of the Nix for the 2021/22 season

We are delighted to announce that our long standing partners — Hillyer McKeown & Rent-A-Space — have joined forces as principal sponsors of the club for the 2021/22 season.

Hillyer McKeown Solicitors (HM), a leading Chester based law firm has been the Club’s principal sponsor since 2016 and has a growing reputation for shaking things up and Doing Law Differently. This means offering a full-service legal consultancy, delivering client care beyond standard client service and adopting a life-centric approach – able to act not just for a company, but also the people within it.

Richard Burnett, Partner, HM said: “After a challenging 18 months for Cheshire Phoenix and their supporters, we are all looking forward to seeing the players in the flesh and back on court this season.

“As main club partners, the coverage of the BBL on Sky Sports adds real value to our sponsorship, but there is nothing to match the excitement of sitting on the bleachers, watching a closely fought contest at the EPSV.

“HM are also delighted to be joined as main club sponsors this season by long standing client and close friends, Rent A Space. Two local business success stories, coming together to support a fantastic local community club.”

Rent-A-Space caters for clients looking for personal storage as well as businesses looking for a secure offsite storage facility, including office space, retail and commercial units. They can tailor self storage packages to suit exact requirements and their staff is always there to make sure that clients get exactly the storage space they need.

Andrew Donaldson, Director of Rent-A-Space, said: “I am absolutely delighted to continue my long standing support of The Cheshire Phoenix with Rent A Space stepping up to become a joint Principal Sponsor. We see lots of mutual benefits for both organisations as Rent A Space will be opening two new self-storage stores on The Wirral and in Cheshire in 2022.”

Phoenix general manager James Brice said: “The commitment that both Rent-A-Space and HM showed during the really difficult 2020/21 season was amazing, so to have them come together as the lead sponsors for the club for the upcoming season is absolutely fantastic news for the Phoenix organisation.

“They have both been long-standing partners in their own right for a number of years now, so to have them both as the principal sponsors is something we’re extremely grateful for.

“We are extremely excited to be continuing our long and successful relationships with HM and Rent-A-Space.”
