Phoenix add Maceo Jack

We are pleased to announce the signing of American guard Maceo Jack to the roster.

The 6’5 guard joins us from NCAA D1 team Buffalo Bulls where he averaged 9.5 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game during the 2021-22 season.  Maceo joins the Phoenix after enjoying a successful collegiate career after playing 4 seasons with George Washington Colonials and his 5th with the Buffalo Bulls.

Maceo’s mum Felisha Legette–Jack is currently the head coach for the Syracuse Orange Women’s Basketball programme.

“We are really happy with the signing of Maceo, defensively he’s going to be tough, we know he can play really well in transition. In the half court we’re looking for him to stretch the floor and knock down open shots and overall bring a lot of energy to the team and change games when needed.”

“I’m feeling great after arriving in Cheshire, I’m excited and ready to get out on the court and contribute for the team. This year for the Cheshire Phoenix I’m going to bring all my fight and ability to play hard every minute. I like to play at both ends of the floor, overall  I am excited to get on the court and bring all my tools for Phoenix”

The club are hopeful Maceo will receive international clearance to play ahead of the double header against London lions and Bristol Flyers this weekend.

The club have agreed to mutually part ways with Danny Evans and would like to thank him and wish him all the best for the future.
