We are pleased to welcome Great Britain international RJ Eytle Rock ahead of the 24/25 season.
The Great Britain international guard RJ Eytle-Rock earned his first call-up for the senior national team last season, while starting and averaging eight points per game for Sheffield Sharks as they finished fourth in the league.
The product of Barking Abbey’s youth system had previously had an extremely successful college career at Utah State and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

“ We really liked RJ last summer and when he signed in the league with Sheffield we were really interested to see how he would get on. At times he looked like one of the best British players in the league and he deservedly earned his call up to the GB national squad. After speaking to RJ, our hope is that we can get that high level play consistently throughout the season. RJ is a big guard and somebody that will be able to play on and off the ball as required. His ability to score from the perimeter and also put pressure on the paint is exactly what we need. He is hungry to carry on improving as a pro and I’m really looking forward to seeing him thrive whilst playing for the Phoenix.”
