Prior to turning professional, Williams enjoyed a distinguished NCAA Division I career at Cornell University in the Ivy League. Over 107 games for the Big Red, he generated more than 1,000 career points, shooting an efficient 48.6% from the floor and 37.3% from beyond the arc. A two-time All-Ivy League selection, Williams consistently proved to be a clutch performer in high-pressure games, capable of operating as a primary ball-handler or a dynamic scoring wing.
